This project proposes to provide a California Department of Parks and Recreation Right-of-Entry Permit to the Emerald Bay Service District in order to work within Crystal Cove State Park. The work includes providing a modified fuel zone between the Emerald Bay housing development and Crystal Cove State Park which involves the removal of non-native vegetation and the planting of fire-resistant vegetation consisting of primarily cactus.
