Reasons for Exemption
This project is determined to be categorically exempt from CEQA as it complies with the terms set forth in Section 15301 which pertain to Class 1, Existing Facilities, projects. The project consists of providing a small, ~7,000 sf addition to the existing public radio facility on campus for staff and equipment needed to continue the public radio programs, continuing the institutional designation and use of the site. The project does not change the institutional land use, is located within an established urban area that is not environmentally sensitive and is served by all utilities and public services which will also serve the proposed small addition.
