Document Description
Trim or remove three trees at Railtown 1897 State Historic Park to alleviate potential hazards to park visitors and park employees from the decayed trees. The proposed work will trim the crowns of two oak trees and remove completely one poplar tree. Work will be performed as directed by the California State Parks Forester II.

Project consists of the maintenance and minor alteration of existing public facilities, involving no expansion of use beyond current levels and the minor alterations of in the condition of land and vegetation, which does not involve removal of healthy, mature or scenic trees except for forestry purposes and is included as "resource management projects" in the Department of Parks and Recreation's list of exempt activities in accordance with CCR §15300.4.
