Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes a slope stabilization project on Route 26 in Calaveras County near Glencoe at 0.5 miles east of the South Fork Mokelumne River. The scope of the project includes placing AC shoulder and AC Dike, placing over-side drains, clearing and grubbing the slope, and placing imported borrow prior to placing Rock Slope Protection (RSP). All construction will be within existing Caltrans Right-of-Way. The purpose of this project is to protect the integrity of the roadway's structural section through stabilization and the need to the project is to prevent further erosion in the area.
