Document Description
The proposed project would involve the demolition of several existing maintenance and operation buildings with outdoor canopies and construction of new maintenance and operation buildings, as well as general site improvements, including lighting, parking, storm water management, and security surveillance systems. The proposed project would occur in five phases. Phase I would be the demolition of ~2,460 sf of open canopy and storage buildings in the northern yard, and construction and relocation of shop spaces in the northern yard. Phase II would be the demolition of ~15,410 sf of operation and maintenance facilities in the southern yard, and construction of the new location for the print shop in the southern yard. Phase III would include relocating the existing print shop from the northern yard to the southern yard and renovating the existing print shop building to create a new maintenance and office building in the northern yard. Phase IV would involve demolition of the existing freezer and construction of a new freezer, the relocation of the existing modular refrigerator and storage building to the new location within the southern yard, and the construction of 47 new parking spaces in the southern yard. The final phase would be to install dry storage buildings, but this phase is subject to future funding. Construction is anticipated to occur over 10 months. Construction of Phases I and II is anticipated to occur between April 2018 and September 2018. Construction of Phase III and IV is anticipated to occur between September 2018 and January 2019.
