Document Description
Conduct geotechnical investigations on the perimeter of the Cow Barn in Wilder Ranch State Park to identify soil conditions and guide repair and stabilization work on the cow barn. A truck-mounted mechanical auger with a 6" auger bits will be used to drill up to four holes, fifteen to forty feet in depth to obtain soil samples for analysis. Excavated holes will be backfilled with soil cuttings and excess soil cuttings will be spread in adjacent undeveloped areas away from the waterways.

The project consists of the minor alteration in the condition of land, water and/or vegetation which does not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees' and basic data collection which does no result in a serious or major disturbance to an environmental resource, included as "Soils and Structural engineering tests" in the Department of Parks and Recreation's list of exempt activities in accordance with CCR §15300.4.
