Document Description
Proposed project seeks repair a residential floating dock that was damaged from the August 2014 earthquake. The dock and two damaged piles have been removed and will be replaced with an aluminum framed boat dock of the same dimensions and two SUPERPILE Composite pipe piles. The piles are 12-inches in diameter and 30-feet in length and will be driven at least 10 to 12 feet deep into the ground using a vibratory hammer and pad. The new dock will be assemble at an upland location, launch into the waterway at a nearby harbor and then floated into place and attached to the piles.
