Document Description
Proposed project seeks to safely conduct maintenance inspections of the degrading piles and bulkhead to determine the root cause and best practices for future maintenance repair. To accomplish this, two temporary shoring beams will be installed at two locations under one over-water condominium. This will secure two foundation piles and allow safe access to cut and remove two roughly twelve-inch square sections of concrete encasement at each pile to create observation ports to inspect the timber pilings. To inspect the bulkhead rebar reinforcement, the upper twelve-inches of concrete in a two-foot long section of bulkhead will be removed.
