Document Description
The project involves the redevelopment and expansion of an existing resort by incorporating two contiguous parcels increasing the overall size of the spa. Planned improvements also include renovation of lodging units, adding suites and improving guest services. The project requires approval of a GPA, rezone, preliminary/Final Development Plan, CUP, Design Review and Development Agreement.
The project may install additional infrastructure required for the continued use of geothermal water, including but not limited to: potential extraction well(s), potential re-injection well(s), piping, well pumps and potential heat exchangers. In addition, Well 1 would be abandoned and all geothermal water supplied to the pools, relocated laundry and mud baths proposed in and at the spa building would be supplied by Well 2 or by another geothermal well(s) with a similar antimony constituent as Well 2. Permits for geothermal wells and geothermal energy system will be obtained from the Department of Conservation Division of Oil, Gas and Geothermal Resources, as necessary.
