In order to reduce the amount of waste sent to the landfill and to reduce the amount of persistent litter while increasing progress toward our goal for zero waste, the city of Davis is proposing the adoption of a new ordinance that will prohibit food providers within the city of Davis from providing food or dink in any non-recyclable and non-compostable disposable food service ware, including expanded polystyrene foam.
