Document Description
The GAIP provides the framework for general aviation Improvements at the Airport. The GAIP assumes the phased replacement of the majority of existing facilities serving general aviation. The approved project, Identified as the Proposed Project In the Final Program EIR, provides for 2 Full Service Fixed Based Operators (FBOs); redevelopment of 1 Limited Service FBO (for a total of 2 Limited Service f: BOs on the Airport); correction of four existing non standard design features; provisions for an optional general aviation terminal and General Aviation Facility; capacity for approximately 354 based aircraft located in box hangars, community hangars, T-hangars, tie-downs and FBO apron spaces; flight schools; a self-service aircraft fueling station and aircraft wash rack; and minor modifications to Ingress and egress on the east side of the Airport (on Campus Drive).
