The Specific Plan Update establishes land use, transportation, infrastructure, economic development, and urban design strategies to promote electric incubator district providing opportunities for businesses to thrive in a creative, innovative, and dynamic environment. The specific plan update provides new development standards and incentives for redevelopment and rehabilitation of existing structures, particularly regarding underutilized buildings and properties. A draft EIR was previously made available for public review and comment from March 8, 2018 through April 23, 2018. In response to the comments received, the city has conducted additional analysis and made revisions to Chp 18 of the draft EIR and is now recirculating this revised chp of the draft EIR for review.
