Document Description
The project is the development and operation of two PV solar arrays that would generate a combined, approx 1.6 MW of electricity. The arrays would connect to the WWTP's existing electrical system to provide renewable electricity to the treatment plant. The components of the two arrays include PV modules, single-axis tracking rack system, inverters, electrical switchboard gear and distributed energy storage unit. The two arrays are planned to be constructed in three phases and construction is anticipated to take approx 240 working days over an 18-month period. The arrays would provide electricity to the WWTP, city buildings, and city-owned water wells. The power generated would connect to both the existing WWTP electrical system and the utility power grid.
