This is not a CEQA document. Caltrans is proposing to rescind the unconstructed portion of SR 54 from SR 125 in San Diego County to the intersection with I-8 near 3rd St in the City of El Cajon. The rescission of the freeway adoption will allow Caltrans to dispose of the parcels of land under its ownership. This requires Caltrans to notify all affected local, regional and State agencies of the rescission proposal, and ask the agencies if they are interested in purchasing any of these properties for public use or would like to provide additional info that might be useful to the CTC in making a final decision.
