Document Description
The project site is a trail located in the City of La Canada Flintridge that begins near the bottom (lowest elevation) of Owl Trail, approximately 0.2 mile west of the Hampstead Rd trailhead, and terminates west of the Cherry Canyon Motorway. The City is seeking to legally permit, enhance, and expand an existing citizen's trail that has been created in the area designated Cherry Canyon Open Space. The proposed project would involve re-cutting and grading the existing trail and vegetation removal. Construction would also include an approximately five-foot retaining wall and several drainage features beneath the trail to allow storm water flows to pass under the trail.
