Document Description
The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) approved the Removal Action Workplan (RAW) for the Proposed Orange Cove Elementary Project. The RAW remediation activities will address the contaminated soil impacted with dieldrin (an organochlorine pesticide [OCP]) and thallium from the use of agricultural chemicals and rodenticides to reduce the potential risk to human health and the environment. Project activities consist of the excavation of approximately 150 cubic yards of contaminated soil and conduct confirmation sampling.
