Document Description
Construct emergency repairs to Lower State Park Road that were closed due to storm damage in order to re-open the road to park visitors. Work will:
Remove damaged asphalt along the 200 foot project areas;
Import up to 96 cubic yards of rip rap (1 ton rocks measuring approx. 40 inches across);
Place the rocks between Chorro Creek and the slumping south bound lane along a 200 foot section of Lower State Park Road, to armor the above bank area that supports the road;
Install up to 1 foot of road base;
Install replacement asphalt to finish grade.
