Document Description
CAL FIRE's Office of State Fire Marshal, Fire and Life Safety Division, and Resource Management Program have a combined total of 26 employees who are residing in an office located at 901 P Street in Sacramento. The 4,300 sf of office space is leased from the Department of Water Resources. Recently, The Department of Water Resources has indicated that they need to use this office space for their staff and has requested that CAL FIRE vacate the premises. A new office building that can provide 5,765 sf to CAL FIRE has been identified and is located at 2180 Harvard Street, Suite 200, in Sacramento. This new office space will accommodate CAL FIRE employees without any renovation other than the installation of modular office furniture. Additionally, hiring of three more employees is anticipated. The move to this new office is anticipated to occur in April 2017.
