Document Description
Caltrans proposes an immediate stabilization of an embankment slope which is slipping into the adjacent channel and causing multiple slip-outs along State Route 4 in San Joaquin County at post miles 2.3 to 3.0. The scope of the work includes the removal of the failing material, placement of rock slope protection fabric, and provide traffic control along the segment of SR 4. The purpose of the project is to maintain highway safety and the need of the project is to immediately stabilize the slopes and protect the traveled way from further slip out and structural failure.
