Document Description
Caltrans proposes an emergency culvert repair at SR 99 in Merced County at PM 28.8/29.1. The scope of the project includes installing a new corrugated metal pipe, removal of the failed slope material, and hydroseeding the repaired slope. All work will occur within Caltrans' ROW. All soil will remain and be redistributed on site. The purpose of the project is to replace the damaged drainage pipes and stabilize the slopes and the need of the project is to prevent additional damage from any future storms and preserve the integrity of the roadway.
