Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2016-0322-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the City of Belmont.
The project is limited to the removal of accumulated sediment in order to maintain the channel at the designed flood conveyance capacity and to avoid flooding in adjacent properties during the rainy season. An estimated 250 cubic yards of accumulated sediment will be removed from a 266 linear foot segment of Belmont Creek west of Old County Road. Permittee will also remove approximately 10 cubic yards of sediment form an approximately 50 if Section of creek on the east side of Old County Road.
