Document Description
This project will demonstrate an efficient, advanced air distribution design approach that will reduce natural gas usage through the real time application of indoor air quality sensor technologies, advanced fault detection and diagnostic software and monitor based commissioning to achieve improved operational efficiency of HVAC systems. This pre-commercial, integrated design approach will improve the operational and energy efficiency of air handling units in HVAC systems in an existing hospital. The Project demonstration location is the Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center, a medical and general hospital in Harbor City, CA.
