Document Description
The ponding basin downstream of the outfall pipes need to be expanded by removing vegetation and about 200 cubic yards of sediment to increase for containing seepage from the dam. This work is necessary to prevent compromising the integrity of the dam. The SWP Contractors will benefit.

The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation owns LBDD, but the facility and appurtenant structures are operated and maintained by DWR. The project will provide a negligible increase in the capacity of the existing ponding basin. Existing Facilities - Minor repairs and alterations to exisitng dams and appurtenant structures under the supervision of the DWR applies.
