Document Description
The big Sur Riverbank has been washed out at this location due to recent heavy rains. As a result, the shoulder and roadway of State Route 1 and adjacent utilities are in great jeopardy. Placement of approximately 1,200 tons of rock slope protection is anticipated to reduce high-velocity flow, and eliminate further bank erosion.
