Document Description
The proposed project is to design, construct, operate, and maintain facilities to divert and treat water from the Tuolumne River and deliver it for use by the SRWA member cities of Ceres and Turlock. It would involve use of an existing infiltration gallery located within a portion of the streambed of the Tuolumne River; construction and operation of a wet well and raw water pump station at the infiltration gallery site, raw water pipelines, a water treatment plant, and treated water transmission mains; construction of terminal storage tanks, pump stations, and local pipeline improvements to connect to teh existing municipal water distribution infrastructure; and delivery of offset water (as described below) from SRWA member agencies to Turlock Irrigation District (TID), including construction and operation of related infrastructure.
