Document Description
The project approved by the CDFW addresses the retirement of a 13-mile portion of gas transmission pipeline 107 in Alameda County from south of Livermore to the eastern border of Fremont. The project affects or is generally related to fish and wildlife resources subject to the regulatory authority of CDFW, including fish and wildlife resources subject to the Fish and Game Code Section 1600 et. seg. The SAA authorizes certain activities addressed in Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code that could cause substantial adverse effects to fish and wildlife resources. The SAA in this respect will facilitate construction and operation of the Project.
The project will result in permanent impacts to 0.14 acre of upland refugia habitat and temporary impacts to 10.12 acres of upland refugia habitat for CA tiger salamander. The project is expected to result in incidental take of the Covered species.
