Document Description
Calaveras County public works department, in conjunction with the Caltrans and the Federal Highway Admin, intends to replace an existing low water crossing with a bridge on Hogan Dam Rd at Bear Creek. The existing low water crossing is passable for most vehicles through most of the year. The new bridge will provide an all-weather crossing of the creek and will accommodate the traveled way, shoulders, and barriers. Construction of the proposed bridge is planned to commence in spring 2018 or later. Project duration is expected to be one season, but could extend to two seasons due to regulatory limitations on work periods.
