Document Description
Replace the existing Honeydew Bridge over the Mattole River (Bridge#4C-055) with a new bridge in order to meet modern highway design standards, accommodate local and regional transportation needs, and provide increased level of public safety. The new bridge will be a two-span structure, approximately 375 feet in length. A temporary detour will be constructed 1,300 downstream and will connect Mattole Road with Burrel Road. Because of the short time period of low flows for the Mattole River, two summer seasons will be required to construct the bridge replacement project.
