Document Description
The project is to construct an approximately 95,500 sf one-story self-storage facility on a vacant 5.17-acre site at 5006 Walnut Road. The site plan includes nine storage buildings with 365 storage units, an 821 sf office, four parking spaces, and a 1-acre retention basin for collecting and treating on-site stormwater runoff. Unit storage will include household possessions, automobiles and recreational vehicles. The max building height will be approximately 15 ft to the storage units and 25 ft to the decorative towers. The project includes a request to increase the allowable floor area ratio from 0.30 to 0.42. Exterior elevations will resemble Spanish architecture. Site access will be provided by a main entrance along Walnut Rd, with secondary access provided by an adjoining property to the north.
