Document Description
The district proposes to construct a regional public safety training facility near the northwest corner of the Shasta College campus. The RPSTF will replace existing facilities directly to the west of the proposed facilities. The new facilities will provide for improved training of Shasta College students and local public safety personnel, and also reduce impacts to residents by moving the facilities away from the nearest residencies. The proposed RPSTF Project entails construction of one 9,800 sf classroom building located in the southwest portion of the project area, just west of the access road, with a paved parking lot located on the opposite side (east of) the access road. Approximately 11 training props and associated accoutrements will be located north of the classroom and parking lot.
