Document Description
The proposed project consists of a career and technical education regional training center and up to two additional support educational school campuses with associated facilities as part of the Kern High School District. CTERTC may include a warehouse facility, supply structures, portable modular classrooms, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, and future expansion areas. The parcel is approx. 25.5 acres and a max enrollment capacity of 2,000 students is proposed with approx 200 faculty members. Approx. 150,000 sf of structures and 470 parking spaces (260 students and 210 staff/visitor) will be provided on site. The facility will be operated from 7 am to 10 pm, Mon thru Fri, with rec use on the weekends.
