Document Description
Note: Extended Review, Per Lead. The Rio Bravo Hydro Sediment Management Project proposes to manage naturally occurring sediment in the Kern River with the use of sluicing and mechanical sediment removal at the Rio Bravo Hydroelectric project. Proposed sluicing activities include: operational sluicing, concurrent sluicing and turbid flow bypass. Proposed mechanical sediment removal includes: impoundment dredging and canal sediment removal. Sediment management activities would be completed on an as needed basis for the life of the FERC license.
