Realignment of the existing 6 mile long Baron Ranch Trail, extending from the Baron Ranch property line and trail head to the lower limits of the existing upper Baron Ranch Trail Loop at the Los Padres National Forest Boundary in the Santa Monica Mountains. The project would include: realignment of the trail from the east side of Arroyo Quemado to the west side, construction of a 3,320 sf vehicle and horse trailer turnaround; installation of a 65-ft long and 8-ft wide prefabricated bridge over Arroyo Quemado; and installation of three gates, a small kiosk, wayfinding and interpretive trail signs, fences, and erosion control measures.
