A new elementary school is proposed in the Central Unified School District's eastern area to alleviate anticipated overcrowding at nearby elementary schools. All students attending the school will be located within the attendance area, and the school proposes no bussing of students, except those who need assistance. The school, for 750 students, will include a 2 story, 46,339 sq. ft. administrative and classroom building; 8,365 sq. f.t cafeteria/ multi-purpose and service area; 83-stall parking area with solar panels installed over the parking; student drop off, and play areas. Play areas will be available to the public as recreational green space.
