CAL FIRE, NRCS and UC Extension will be hosting a Reforestation Workshop for forest land owners and consulting registered professional forester's on February 11th 2017, from 10AM - 3 PM at the Intermountain Nursery, 30443 North Auberry Road Prather CA. The goal of this informational workshop is to provide landowners and registered professional forester's with infromation related to the current bark beetle epidemic and resultant tree mortality, while also discussing how landowners can effectively reforest their property. The workshop is lecture and discussion based. No trees or vegetation will be affected and no ground-disturbing work is proposed. It it anticipated that the workshop organizers and on estimated 25 attendees will occupy a small area of the 5-acre property for ~ 6 hours to discuss the agenda items.
