Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board as the lead agency will be issuing a water supply permit. Community Recycling built a 2,200 gallon per minute well in September 1995. In 2015 Recology, Inc. took over the lease that the Community recycling had with Lamont Public Utilities District, which covers the land, facility, and water system. The storage tank was installed the same year. The well and tank is part of the Blossom Valley Organics Water system that currently connects to the shop, old office, and old cafeteria shelter, and will connect to the new administrative building. Alternative water has always been provided to employees for drinking water. This project will provide for the permitted operation of these facilities.
