Document Description
Pursuant to the California Elections Code, the City Clerk's Office verified that the petition contains the minimum number of required signatures to qualify the referendum for the ballot. If the proponents are successful, the referendum would repeal virtually all of the restrictions on marijuana use, possession, cultivation, business, etc. contained in Ordinance No. 1060. The remainder of this report will provide the City Council with options under the California Elections Code to address this referendum petition.
