Document Description
Yuciapa Valley Water District ("YVWD") is a retail water agency that has a service area within both San Gorgonio Pass Water Agency ("SGPWA") and San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District's ("SGPWA") servie areas. SGPWA and SBVMWD each contract with the California Department of Water Resources to receive water through the State Water Project ("SWP") and the California Aqueduct. YVWD purchases a portion of the SWP water from each agency for the beneficial use of its agency and its customers. While YVWD purchases its water from both SGPWA and SBVMWD, water currently is transferred to YVWD only through a SBVMWD for those deliveries.
