Document Description
The project straddles the state line in the city of South Lake Tahoe, El Dorado County, CA, and Stateline, Nevada, approximately 500 feet west of the Lake Parkway right of way. The Douglas Sewer Improvement District No. 1 is proposing to construct approximately 1,200 lf (870 lf in California) of 15 inch diameter gravity sewer pipe to connect the existing DCSID gravity collection system in Nevada with the existing STPUD gravity collection system in California. The project would be located on multiple adjacent parcels owned by Edgewood Companies, APNs 029-010-24, 25, and 26, and would connect to an existing STPUD manhole in Stateline Avenue. The purpose of the proposed project is to provide an emergency connection to reduce the risk of a raw sewage spill.
