Document Description
The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) approved five Interim Measures/Removal Action Work Plans (IM/RAWs) and A CEQA Programmatic Initial Study Addendum for the former Naval Petroleum Reserve No. 1 (NPR-1 ), California, (hereinafter "the Site"). The five I1&'1/RAWs are for Areas of Concern (AOC) 016, 033-005, 033-008 and 009, 080-00~ and AOC 113. The IM/RAWs contain proposals to excavate or remediate impacted soil with concentrations of chemicals of concern (COCs) at levels that may pose a risk to human health and the environment. DTSC has regulatory authority to approve this action pursuant to California Health and Safety Code, Chapter 6.5.
