Document Description
The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) approved two Remedy Selection and Statement of Basis Work Plans (RSSBs) for the former Naval Petroleum Reserve No. 1 (NPR-1 ), California, (hereinafter "the Site"). The two RSSBs are for Area of Concern (AOC) 130. The RSSBs contain proposals to excavate or remediate impacted soil with concentrations of chemicals of concern (COCs) at levels that may pose a risk to human health and the environment. DTSC has regulatory authority to approve this action pursuant to California Health and Safety Code, Chapter 6.5.
