Document Description
RD770 proposes to execute Warren Act contract(s) for period not to exceed 25 years and 25-year license with USBR, and O&M agreement with Friant Water Authority. The proposed agreements include delivery of potentially damaging floodwaters from Kings, Kaweah, and Tule Rivers into Friant-Kern Canal (FKC) and conveyance of this floodwater to Central Valley Project (CVP) and Non-CVP contractors and others that can take delivery from FKC downstream of RD770's pump stations for irrigation, M&I use, groundwater recharge, or other purposes. Floodwaters not delivered from FKC would be discharged into Kern River and become responsibility of appropriate Kern County watmaster(s).
