Document Description
The project proposes the expansion of the existing New Century BMW service building within the northwest portion of the site. The proposed service building expansion area is currently developed with an existing surface parking area that has a carwash area, programming stations for vehicles, and a trash storage area. The project proposes to demolish the existing surface parking area to construct a two-level addition to the existing service building to meet customer demand. The ground level of the expansion (consisting 25,100 sf) will include the existing program stations and trash disposal area and the addition of 34 new service bays and storage area. The first tier of the expansion will include the relocation of the carwash area and a new inventory parking area with 51 spaces. The roof deck will provide a new inventory parking area with 62 spaces. Internal ramps and a car elevator will provide access between the levels and a drive aisle on each level will connect the expansion to the existing service building. An existing driveway from Olive Ave will provide access to the project. This driveway is and will continue to be closed to the public traffic with the development of the project.
