- Document Description
- The city proposes to conduct routine maintenance work within the city's existing 25 storm drain facilities located in the city of Highland, for the purpose of maintaining public safety. Facilities including debris basins, concrete, grouted rock and earthen drainage channels, and inlet/outlet structures spread throughout the city. The proposed routine maintenance of drainage facilities would primarily consist of vegetation management, vector control, excavation to reestablish flowline and design capacity, bank repair and concrete repair. Maintenance of these facilities will occur year-round or as needed to clear storm debris or sediment deposition that may block intake structures, channel flow, or become built up on the basin floor.
