Document Description
The project would involve (1) the installation and operation of a landfill gas extraction system, composed of a media bed treatment system connected by piping to up to five extraction wells; (2) the installation of two new LFG monitoring wells at the top of the slope in the northwestern portion of the landfill ; and (3) subsequent monitoring of LFG emissions from the county-owned portion of the landfill at six well locations and at surface locations with subsequent reporting to the local enforcement agency. There may be an off site electrical connection extending across Sheriff Road. The two new monitoring wells would be installed in or around July 2019, prior to construction of the LFG Extraction System from August 2019 through March 2020, including one month to allow for contingencies.
