The project proposal will authorize and construct an outdoor recycled concrete and concrete product storage yard on the south side of West Los Angeles Avenue approximately 4500 feet west of Madera Road, associated with the Pre-Con Products concrete products plant located adjacent to the site. The project includes the grading and filling of the site, preservation of a majority of existing oak trees on the site, installation of underground drainage facilities to replace an existing surface drainage channel, with provision of a landscaped escape route for wildlife to minimize potential disturbance to wildlife movement, grading and re-vegetation of a large slope adjacent to the Arroyo Simi, dedication of a 20' wide trail easement to the Park District, and paving both for a gated driveway connection to West LA Ave., and internal access.
