- Document Description
- Project would result in the construction of a wastewater main along Road 96/Pratt Ave. (and lift station(s)) which will connect to an existing (or possibly new) City of Tulare wastewater trunk line along Paige Avenue/Avenue 216; and construction of a sewer collection system through lateral collection lines from each home (or business) within Matheny Tract. These collection lines would then inter-tie to the mainline that would deliver the wastewater to the City's wastewater trunk line and subsequently to the City's wastewater treatment plant approx. one and a half miles northwest of Matheny Tract. Construction of wastewater collection laterals from each home (or business) within Matheny Tract and connection to collection lines in the various County rights-of-way abutting the homes (and businesses) would occur. Depending on precise engineering designs, more than one lift station (or other appurtenant structures) may also be required. Pipelines would be installed via open-cut trenching; trenches would be closed upon completion of construction. Roadways would be repaved/resurfaced as needed and specified by the County of Tulare and City of Tulare.
