Document Description
The Project is the replacement of two (2) sections of the Mojave Pipeline known as the Common Mainline/West Side Lateral Line (Line NO. 1901), an existing interstate natural gas pipeline facility, which is jointly owned by Mojave Pipeline Company, LLC (MPC), a subsidiary of Kinder Morgan, Inc., and Kern River Gas Transmission Company, although operated by MPC. The Project includes two (2) segment replacements of the existing 30-inch-diameter pipeline sections totaling approximately 1,825 feet with thicker-walled pipe designed to meet United State Department of Transportation (USDOT) Class III location requirements. The Permittees are required to replace the two segments of existing pipeline to maintain compliance with USDOT design and safety requirements.
