Document Description
The flashboard dam consists of permanently installed rails mounted on concrete wing walls. Galvanized boards are placed by hand in the structure each spring. Plastic sheeting is used to limit seepage and a fish ladder is installed each year to allow for fish passage. Water diverted at the dam travels by gravity through a series of pipes to an existing 7.5 acre foot offstream storage pond. The Department of Fish and Wildlife is issuing a Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2016-0233-R3 pursuant to Fish and Game code Section 1602.
