Document Description
SCVWD is in need of additional water supplies to meet the critical water supply needs. Up to 8,000 acre-feet of approved 2016 SWP water supplies from MWA will be delivered to SCVWD via the South Bay Aqueduct or to San Luis Reservoir at Turnout 59 by December 31, 2016. This will result in an unbalanced exchange ratio of 2 to 1. The water delivered to SCVWD and the water returned by SCVWD to MWA will be accomplished using SWP, MWA and SCVWD existing facilities.
